The function of the switches
Imagine that you are bending yourself, and each position of the switches is a point that can be connected to another one. Or, the switches can be approached as a patchbay of a synthesizer. Practically, they connect different predefined points in a circuit, establishing new connections not intended by the original DS-1 design. You cannot tell that switch 1 is for fuzz and switch 2 is for overdrive. Instead, switch 1 connects R1 to R3, but the effect it will produce in combination with the other switches is impossible to predict. -
How many sound combinations are there in the Grim Gourd and are all of them usable?
There are 12^3 combinations which makes it 1728 possible variations.Not all of them are usable, definitely. This is a part of a design since the project has a circuit bending roots. -
Combining the Grim Gourd with other instruments
The Grim Gourd is great when combined with various instruments such as guitar, bass, synths, and drum machines. Moreover, it serves as an excellent source for samples in both noise-based and sample-based music. -
Built in LFO
The Grim Gourd features its own LFO circuit responsible for generating repeating sound patterns or pulsations. It offers variable speed, which is controlled by a separate knob. -
Photocell/Theremin
You can interact with the Grim Gourd using the Photocell input, which controls the pitch of the oscillations.

Reality not rehearsal
Format: Hardcover
When addressing the public in matters intelligence, the greatest obstacle is keeping reined in. GB keeps this issue in focus, not easy as the public does TV and cinema flashbacks in seconds. When explaining complex matters simplicity id best. GB excels in this. Point by point, candor without contempt ,no-fringe detailing and recommendations are just put out there. Training, languages, leadership, languages, risk, languages - please note - Language Training!
With my A+ or 100% affirmative, I hold one reservation.
Can the Freedom Corps function, no just above regions and ethnicities with indiginous people, but will the fighters against islamic fanaticism be able to give loyalty to us when there is a call for religious dominance or caliphate.
Could taqiya suborn and oath to us?
And that question is what makes this book dynamic.
Risk is an sidehick to intelligence opertions.

A truly "practical" guide!
Format: Hardcover
Mr. Bernsten wrote this book to share what he has learned both right, wrong and otherwise in his illustrious and decorated career. These kinds of books are not written to make money. They are written for the love of the profession and how to make the entire genre better. The book is "A Practical Guide." It is clear and concise.
I am quite sorry that Mr. Steele feels the way he does. Perhaps there is a tinge of jealousy there.
Mr.Bernsten had a home run with his work "Jaw Breaker" and his most recent "The Walk-In." Crossing over to write "Human Intelligence.." only shows he loved his work and the agency he worked for. What came out of his career is how to make HUMIT, CT and leadership better.

250K miles on my Corolla and its running like a champ!

The Valvoline Restore & Protect Full Synthetic 5W-30 has been one of the best motor oils I’ve used in a higher-mileage vehicle. After a few oil changes, the engine felt noticeably smoother and quieter, especially during cold starts. Throttle response improved slightly, and idle became more consistent as well.
What really stands out is the cleaning performance. This oil is designed to help remove deposits and prevent future buildup, and it seems to actually deliver. My engine runs cleaner, and oil consumption appears lower compared to some other synthetic oils I’ve tried. It also holds up very well between oil changes without breaking down or getting excessively dark too quickly.
The 5-quart jug is convenient, easy to pour, and priced competitively for a full synthetic with advanced additives. If you want a high-quality oil that not only protects your engine but also helps restore performance over time, this is an excellent choice. I’ll definitely continue using it for future oil changes.

It really works. Cleaner, quieter, smoother operation.

This is the most amazing oil I have ever used. As a previous mechanic and current auto enthusiast, I am very picky about what I use in my vehicle. I tried this on a car I planned on trading in for about a year before getting rid of it and it really made a difference in quieting down the lifters and valve train. Looking internally to the engine I found that this does clean and dissolve varnish internally while also retaining its viscosity. I was impressed by the improvement in how smoothly it made that car run until trading it in. I've been using it in my new to me 20 year old used car I bought which has low mileage and runs great. Using this oil has only made it run better. Quieter, smoother, etc. I have used RP, Mobil 1, Pennzoil, and more. This one is my new number one that I plan on sticking with for the life of my vehicle.
